Why do men like anal sex? Is that normal if my husband is asking for it? We live together for 9 years already. Is it possible to tell that I m practicing it at the check-up at gynecologist? (Female, 34 y. o.)

One of the most common reasons is that with time man’s senses during traditional sex get duller (because of the vagina getting larger with time). During anal sex man’s penis is wrapped up tighter – the pressure and stimulation of penis is bigger, which is not possible during vaginal (traditional) sex. Therefore man is having more pleasure than in vaginal sex. Cause of it could be lessening of genital compatibility – wider vagina and middle or small sized penis. This is the most common reason why man doesn’t achieve necessary pleasure – ejaculation takes place but orgasm is very small or isn’t there at all. You also should take into account the 9 years you’ve lived together – it’s period of time long enough for you to get used to each other and your genitals to get less compatible.
