Sexual stimulators - Part 2

And here we continue with few more...

But what about Eastern medicines like rhino horn powder?

Belief in it is also based on principle of “resemblance”. It’s easy to imagine how poor Chinese man is silently dreaming: “Oh if my penis would be as rhino horn…” Without a doubt, if he looked at rhinos other end, then he would find there something what is not less exciting. It’s interesting that demand in China for this substance is so much bigger than its tiny offer, that usually in market under its name they are selling grinded boars’ fangs or pigs’ bones. Though there is one Chinese preparation which actually has something in it. It has different names, also “elixir of life”, but most of the times we know it as a ginseng.

Does ginseng has medical qualities?

It can’t be said with certainty that it is aphrodisiac. Brain work in such a way that even thought about healing effect on will give necessary effect on sexual intercourse. This also refers to ginseng. According to Chinese, the best is the root which looks like small man. Again - “resemblance” principle. Only way to see the effect of ginseng is to try it out on yourself. But since it cost 70,000 dollars per pound, then you either have to be in dead end situation or be very rich.

What is yohimbine

Here’s one more example of suggestive effect, which is based on belief in grinded African tree yohimbine rind’s inner part. This preparation has been used as aphrodisiac thousands and thousands of times. And always - without results.

Though in 19th century was discovered one more substance which increased sexuality in some degree. It’s strychnine. Rat poison? That’s correct. Even in small doses it’s deadly, because makes nervous system sensitive to smallest effects. Person who’s had it starts to shake in convulsions from simple sound of shutting doors. Death usually occurs from body’s exhaustion from endless convulsions. Though, in really small doses, strychnine increases sexual senses. In the same time even little bit bigger dose can send to death half-dozen people. So we’re back again to Spanish flies. You can stay alive, or die in agonizing death.

Is there a real aphrodisiac?

Official science, by easily understandable reasons, claims that there are no such substances. This is almost true, but not completely. Apparently those who consider themselves guards of morality, think that aphrodisiac can turn the society into huge orgy.

Light substitute of aphrodisiac is alcohol. In spite of teaching statements that it is “dangerous depressant”, it has tranquillizing effect. And exactly that way it is working in sexual sphere. Fears are killers of sexual excitement. It’s knows by anyone who has made love and heard a knock of a jealous husband at the door. Alcohol erases all fears, including ones regarding sex. When after third glass of martini man announces: ”we have nothing to fear about,”- woman believes him. Alcohol helps sex also in other aspect – it shows everything in better light. “Didn’t turn out this time? So what?” Main fault of the alcohol is that it doesn’t allow to enjoy all the range of feelings, dull them, makes harder to coordinate movements, to realize all the sexual pleasure un lessens self-control in our behavior, which can lead to unplanned pregnancy or infection with HIV/AIDS/STD.

Real aphrodisiac is men sex hormone – testosterone. Affecting the whole body it rises powerful, almost impossible to resist, sexual excitement. It works same on men and women. Effect doesn’t start right away but it’s lasting and deep. Of course there are also dangers. Men can have an atrophy of the testicles, which is very serious. Women in their turn can start look like men: clitoris becomes bigger, facial hair appears, voice becomes deeper and other not very pleasant changes appear. Also careless use of testosterone can cause serious liver damage for men as well as for women. Use of such preparations is allowed only with doctor’s supervision.
